A Drive-In Easter Experience! Easter is the cornerstone of our faith. The fact that Jesus rose from the dead is the driving force behind our vision of being an Upbeat and Celebratory church, making disciples, and adding value to our community! With the "new normal" from the COVID 19 pandemic and the social distancing requirements in place, we have redesigned our Easter service at First General. Come and join in the worship in a Drive-In style worship service. Instead of greeters, you'll be greeted with a wave and directed to a parking spot to view the big screen. Then just tune in your FM radio to the proper station two listen to the service (station TBA). A few FAQs No, the concession stand won't be open! LOL! Red, White, & BOOM! begins at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, July 4th, with lots of food, fun, and entertainment. Randy & Sherri Miller will be our featured entertainment again this year! We'll have Rice Krispies, hot dogs and brats, chips, and drinks plus lots of activities to keep you and the kiddos busy and happy! New this year will be games for the kiddos! Game Competitions for kids ages 4-12 Starts @ 6:00 pm thru 8:00 pm and will include watermelon eating contest, sack races, bucket and sponge race, three-legged race and limbo! No charge! Just good family fun! At 9:00 pm we'll have our most amazing fireworks display yet! Come have a great evening of good ole family fun in welcoming and safe surroundings.
