We believe that as active attendees and owners at First General, tithing is an expectation and an anticipation.

We believe you can’t out-give God, so when you trust Him with your tithes and offerings, have confidence that he will bless the rest (Proverbs 3:9-10 and Malachi 3:10-12).

We think Christians should be the most generous people on earth (2 Corinthians 9:6) to support worthy causes, and there is no organization with more potential to change the world than the local church (Ephesians 3:10)!

To securely make a gift, text GIVE or the amount you would like to give to (573) 345-2110 or by clicking the “Text to Give” button above. You’ll be asked to register with a bank account/routing number (ACH) or with a credit/debit card your first time. After you setup your account, simply text your gift amount for all future gifts (for example: “$100” or “250.00”). Don’t forget to save the number in your phone. You can always text EDIT to update your informaitons, set up a recurring gift, and check the status of a gift.

If you make a mistake, text REFUND to (573) 345-2110 to cancel your last figt amount. You must text REFUND within 15 minutes to refund the gift. If you realized the mistake after 15 minutes, contact the church for a refund.

Donations may be mailed to the address below. Please do not send cash through the USPS and be sure your personal info is correct on your check.
