A Drive-In Easter Experience!
Easter is the cornerstone of our faith. The fact that Jesus rose from the dead is the driving force behind our vision of being an Upbeat and Celebratory church, making disciples, and adding value to our community!
With the “new normal” from the COVID 19 pandemic and the social distancing requirements in place, we have redesigned our Easter service at First General.
Come and join in the worship in a Drive-In style worship service. Instead of greeters, you’ll be greeted with a wave and directed to a parking spot to view the big screen. Then just tune in your FM radio to the proper station two listen to the service (station TBA).
A few FAQs
- No, the concession stand won’t be open! LOL! Bring your own snacks – maybe hit that stash of Easter candy!
- Yes, you must stay in your cars! With social distancing requirements, we ask everyone to remain in their cars for the duration of the services. We understand you would love to talk and catch up, but help stop the spread!
- Yes, you can still give to the ministry of First General. Just go to our online giving at www.1gbmalden.org/give to make your donation.
- No, we are not charging by the person! LOL! So don’t stuff your kids in the trunk. We don’t want a reenactment of the raising from the tomb!
- Yes, you can make your prayer request online. Just fill out our online prayer request at www.1gbmalden.org/prayer and let us know how we can pray for you.
